As an experienced TEFL teacher with almost 35 years of teaching to my name, I am used to helping a large variety of students. I have lived abroad for the majority of my life and as well as being a native British English speaker, I also speak fluent German and good Italian. I have taught students ranging in age from 8 to 88 and am especially experienced in tutoring young people as well as people with learning difficulties such as dyslexia. I have a profound interest in cookery and love creating dishes from all over the world and have in the past run my own café.

I've been a teacher for 4 years and have experience working with all levels of the language, from beginner to university student. I currently teach English to speakers of other languages at a college in London and would like to take on more students through Acadsoc. I hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from University of East London, which qualifies me to teach anyone aged 16 and over.

I have a CertIBET (Certificate in International Business English Training) and a CertTESOL. I am specialized in business English tutoring and IELTS preparation. The syllabus of my course focuses on key vocabulary and words and phrases commonly used in daily and academic English. It covers skills that will enable students to get the most out of lectures, written texts and the work place.
